    Some of the most common accidents around the home involve, surprisingly, the flowerpot. These injuries are due to lifting, cuts, and falls while moving the flowerpot around. Another hazard in the garden and around the home is the stepladder.

    Injuries result from facing sideways, overstretching, leaving tools on the top platform of the ladder, damaged rungs, slippery surface, and placing the ladder on uneven ground. The most common accident in a garden is a fall, but the biggest threat is a cut and being hit by something.
